Do Comfortel supply the public?

Comfortel is a trade only supplier and we only sell and make pricing available to the hairdressing and beauty industry. If you would like to purchase online from us you will need to be a part of the beauty or hairdressing industry.

How do I clean my Comfortel Upholstery

All upholstery needs some care; good housekeeping will help to prolong the life of any upholstered products. Avoid extreme temperatures. Extreme cold can make your vinyl prone to cracking, while extreme heat can cause permanent stretching.  Avoid exposing your products to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.

Cleaning Instructions:

Clean regularly to remove body oils which cause hardening.

  • Wipe with a clean colourfast cloth dampened with mild alkaline free soap and luke warm water. Do not wet excessively.
  • Remove all traces of any cleaning product by wiping with fresh water and a clean cloth.
  • Dry with a soft, clean cloth.
  • Stubborn grime may require gentle scrubbing with a soft brush.

Do not use:

  • Hot or boiling water
  • hydrocarbons including alcohol
  • acetone
  • furniture polishes
  • bleach
  • concentrated detergents
  • abrasive powder or paste cleaners
  • steel wool
  • silicon or petroleum-based cleaners
  • solvent based or abrasive cleaning agents

A periodic inspection of all components and fasteners should be made to ensure that your beauty chair is structurally intact and functioning properly.

How do I register for an online account?

Please fill out an online registration form and we will email you and let you know the status of your application. Once you have been approved you will receive your login details via email and will be able to place online orders

What type of payment methods do you accept?

We accept Direct Debit only.  Once you have purchased through our online store, you will receive the bank details for completing the transaction.

If I order today, when can I expect the goods to be shipped?

We use a variety of professional carriers who deliver anywhere within Singapore. Your location and order size will impact on the timeframe to get your order to you. Provided all items are in stock, delivery lead times are as follows:

  • Singapore areas 28 Days.

Where do you ship to?

For www.comfortel.com.sg, we ship Singapore Wide.   For other available regions please change the country via the drop down menu in the header

Do you ship Internationally?

We are only available in Australia, New Zealand or Singapore.  For these regions please go to their dedicated websites by changing the country location in the header menu.

How much are shipping costs?

A minimum delivery/shipping fee of SGD 10 will be charged for delivery on items. As our furniture and equipment requires more attention in delivery due to size, freight cost is based on SGD 40 per cubic metre. Delivery fee is not inclusive of any additional costs such as installation or 3rd party fees. Alternately, please call our customer service team on +65 6677 0715 to obtain a price for delivery. Our office hours are open Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm, excluding holidays. Delivery charges are calculated based on the delivery address and on the size of the order (some orders must be delivered by a 2 man crew). Freight Method will be determined by our warehouse.

What if the goods arrive damaged?

Some products, especially mirrors and ceramic basins are fragile. It is the customer’s responsibility to advise Comfortel if any products are damaged on delivery. Any claims for damage to fragile items must be made within 6 hours of the time of delivery.

Can I cancel my order?

We pride ourselves in picking and shipping your order fast. Therefore any cancellations must be made immediately as once the goods have been shipped shipping charges will apply for the delivery and return of the goods. There is also a 20% percent restocking fee for any orders that are cancelled after shipment.

How do I know you received my online order?

You will receive an email confirmation from us to the email address you specified as soon as your order is received, and another confirmation when your order is shipped.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you within 48 hours to arrange an agreeable alternative item, or a full refund. If you don’t receive your confirmation, please Contact Us.

Do you provide installation instructions?

The majority of our items come with installation instructions. Please check the Downloads tab of a particular product to see if instructions are available online. If not, please contact our Comfortel Showroom.

What if there are missing parts?

It is extremely rare that this will happen as we have a strict procedure for picking and packaging, so until you complete the assembly, don’t throw away any packaging; sometimes small parts are hidden in the carton. In case you have anything missing, please contact our Comfortel Showroom.

How do you handle returns?

There is a 20% restocking fee for change of mind returns. Freight is charged in addition. Goods may only be returned in original packaging.
